"Friends are like mangrove trees, they shore each other up and grow twice
as far together as either would apart"

Life Dream
A world without dreams
is a world without hopes
a world without drive, and
a world of Conformists
and stagnation.
For all of Life,
all of evolution is
in and of itself
a dream
of better days,
and easier times.
Untitled
The ineffible lonliness
Of a person's existance
is broken
only by the bridge of love.
Friendship cannot bridge this
chasm, it but masks
the wall,
and makes it bearable.
Beware the creature
who rejects all love.
For its soul is empty,
and its heart
pumps
ice water.
Adversity's Beautiful Edge
The pines hiss softly in the dawn,
And the sun rises, casting gilt edged shadows
As it slowly renders shape and form,
to dark, blackened, smoke-stained hollows.
The land warms itself in a bed of ashes,
as it waits for the sun ripened seeds
to wake and spread their leaves in multi-colored flashes
for life follows where the fire leads.
When the fires were banished by mankind,
the land became empty and featureless
as the trees became sickly and insect lined,
for the wiped out fires had left a mess.
Nature's law was forgotten,
for when there is no strife
everything lives, everything is chosen,
and the downward spiral beckons to life.
The oldest adage that Life knows
If it doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger,
Only works if man restrains the flows
Of the wizened life vortices of nature no longer.
Life knows and Life does
An example that we should follow,
Adversity is a hardship it loves
For it is the spice that makes Life hallowed.

What is a Dream?
What is a dream,
but a flickering flame
as it twists and dances
upon the head of a matchstick;
a beautiful fleeting dancer,
here one moment, and gone the next?
What is a dream,
but a ship of vapors
in the sky
or that secret castle
seen by you, and no one else?
What is a dream,
but the pale flecks of seafoam
shining on the waves
reaching up to the sky, and
flying for a moment, then swimming for an eternity?
It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow.
And a quantum resonance cannon to make it all worthwile.

people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad idea."
